When in Market Place try Saffron Indian Cuisine

Updated: Nov 11, 2022

Remember that date night jar I created (if you don’t know what I’m talking about go to my IG and check it out!) so we picked from it and it said Jesus Bread. Now bae and I were ecstatic because the place that sells “Jesus Bread” as we call it which is really called Naan is Saffron. We’ve been to Saffron, the one in market place specifically several times and we love it there. Mostly we’d get take out because it’s very affordable, the food is consistent and the serving size is good.

The ambiance, it’s the first we’ve sat inside because the Christmas breeze has started early. Inside has mostly group tables but it suits the simple cozy modern vibes with classy touches of Indian, so I give it a 8/10. They also have outside seating or you can sit in the courtyard which is the cutest since they renovated.

Even though we were caught in the graduation dinner crowd the turn around time was good and the service was also good as we're usually accustomed to, our server always gave us an update each time she passed by or asked if we’re good. So the service for me is 8/10.

Side note : Congratulations to all the new grads! Kotch ee hat a lie? Graduate a lie!

The food 10/10. Every time you go there you can guarantee the food will be good and that’s consistency, the portions are similar to a Chinese restaurant. You can full your belly there and have amply leftovers to go home and fill your belly again. Let me just put you on if you’ve never had naan please stop what you’re doing and go get it! Their naan taste like Jesus himself broke it and served it to us ! Glorious!
